 Metro Peoria consists of 31 churches and 3 missions.

 550,000 people live within our association.

 Metro Peoria covers 13 counties.

 Three counties do not have any Southern Baptist Convention work.

 380,000 people live in the four counties that make up metropolitan Peoria. 

 Peoria is the second largest metropolitan area in Illinois, second only to Chicago.

 Two African-American churches  are included in our association.

 A network has recently been developed to identify locations for new church starts.  We project  eight new      churches in the next few years.

 Metro Peoria is 200 miles east to west and 100 miles north to south.  It takes over three hours to travel from the Eastern-most church to the Western-most church.

 Approximately 325,000 unchurched people live in Metro Peoria Association.
